Lucille Carter After many years of experience as a successful commercial artist and illustrator, Lucille Cole Carter has returned to her first love: painting. Carter's move to Texas in the early 1980's and subsequent travel opportunities have provided inspiration for her vibrant pastels, watercolors, and oils, as well as her dramatic acrylics and collages. In addition to receiving numerous awards for drawing and painting, Carter has taught many painting workshops. She has been represented by galleries in New York, Florida, North Carolina and Texas.
