| Linda Rowe is a resident of North Texas where she maintains her studio.
Working two-dimensionally, she strives to create a representational quality in her
work. She employs oil, pastel, and watercolor to capture the things she sees
around her. She has focused on the mediums of oil and watercolor in most of her
recent paintings.

Linda's oil and watercolors paintings depict her love of nature and the
outdoors. Landscapes, North American birds and flowers are some of her favorite
subjects to paint. She works from life, imagination, and photographs she has
taken while out on "nature hunts" with her camera. “En plein air” painting has
become one of her favorite ways to capture the mood and feel of a subject.

Linda's art education has taken many forms. She has studied
with several great art teachers.
Workshops, studying art books and many, many hours of painting have kept her on
