LeAnna began her study of watercolors with Tom Lynch, while living in
Arlington Heights, IL, and continued her studies at the American Academy of
Art under Irving Shapiro, A.W.S., in Chicago, IL. She also took classes with
the University of Minnesota at San Miguel Allende, MX and at Southern
Methodist University, Dallas, TX.
LeAnna is a member of Southwestern Watercolor Society
and Richardson Civic Art Society. She is a partner in Artists’ Showplace
Gallery, Dallas, TX and enjoys sharing her love of watercolor through
teaching painting to children and adults.
An award-winning artist, LeAnna has paintings in
numerous private and corporate collections in the Dallas and Chicago areas.


Most recently LeAnna has been inspired by workshops and
classes taken with Jane E. Jones, Maureen Brouillette, Miles Batt and Mark
Mehaffey and has begun to paint with acrylic on canvas. She finds the
freedom in abstract and experimental painting exciting and challenging.
