Judith Irwin
Mixed Media Artist: Using her own photography, Judith collages and paints these unique images. Judith is a mixed media artist whose work ranges from studies of flowers and floral arrangements to interpretations of landscapes to the still life. She first began her experimental approach while studying for her bachelor's degree in fine arts back in the late 70's and has continued to exploring possibilities ever since. Her many years of teaching and experimental media led to her unique approach to imagery, combining photography, collage, and watercolors to create these paintings. Her work is in a number of private collections, has been in both group and two person shows and is included in the Nita Leland book, Confident Color. Her portfolio has recently expanded to include an exploration of family history images and stories in both collage and photomontage.
