Artist's Statement
As an artist devoted to watercolor since 1991, I throughly enjoy teaching students who want to find their own personal creative expression through this challenging medium. Whether you are a beginner or a seeking to advance your techniques, I look forward to exploring the possibilities with you. I became a full time watercolorist in 1991. My interest in painting cut crystal and glass began in 1999. I looked for instructional information on this subject. Not finding any, I had to teach myself. I then began teaching this subject to my students. Teaching taught me how to break down which seemed to be a complex subject into easy steps. Students are amazed when they walk away with a complete painting cut crystal and glass.

She has written articles for Watercolor Magic, American Artist Magazine, and is the author of "Stunning Crystal and Glass" along with a DVD which is the companion to the book, and has appeared on "The Painting Gourmet" as a guest artist, and is a co-host to a television program titled "Art 2 Art".

"The Anatomy of Cut Crystal and Glass" will be the focus of this workshop. The first image will be painting a still life of glass vases, clear and color. The second still life will be focusing on cut crystal.
