WATER PAINTS
Students often ask what colors Don has on his palette, so we are providing you with a list of what he’s using now.  (His colors are often changing and he does enjoy experimenting with some of the new colors coming out.)  Typically, he doesn’t expect students to use the same colors; however he does emphasize that you should have 2 light, 2 medium, and 2 dark of all the primary colors.  (He also uses black.)  Most professional brands are interchangeable, and include Holbein, Winsor Newton, Daniel Smith, and American Journey.
