Anne Bagby
Pattern for Painting and Collage
March 26-28, 2009        9:30am to 4:00om

$250.00

Coordinators: Cecie Borschow and Teta Smith Aris

This class will look at various ways to print pattern on paper, canvas, or watercolor paper for use in fine art, book making, and fine crafts. Starting with beautiful and unique papers printed and monoprinted using acrylics, glazes, stains, stamps, stencils, and more, the last day of the class will deal with how to use these papers as well as techniques for working directly into a painting with the stamps, stencils, etc. Everyone should have a completed collage or two and beautiful paper to take home at the end of class. They will also learn the techniques for designing and printing their own paper. Working with paper you have created yourself is a real joy. It will be hard to go back to machine printed paper.

All workshops require a non-refundable deposit of $75.00 to hold your place.
